On Friday, June 19, 2026, Danone and l’Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IP Paris) announced the signing of a partnership within the framework of the IP Paris Connexion program. This collaboration aims to develop research projects in artificial intelligence, data science, and technologies applied to health, nutrition, and consumer behavior. Danone thus becomes the first partner from the agri-food sector to join this program.

Jeffrey Harris is a researcher at the École nationale des ponts et chaussées and a member of the Laboratoire d’Hydraulique Saint-Venant (LHSV*). Solveig Aamlid is a Tenure-Track assistant professor recruited by École Polytechnique with the support of the interdisciplinary center Materials for Society (M4S)**, and a member of the Laboratory of Condensed Matter for Physics (PMC*). Her highly fundamental research focuses on the study and synthesis of materials known as high-entropy oxides, with a particular emphasis on the significant disorder they exhibit at the atomic scale. The researcher explores this specific characteristic, which exerts a major influence on the functionalities of these materials.

Safa Gharbi, a PhD candidate at the Laboratory of Physics of Interfaces and Thin Films (LPICM*), and Juan Lorenzo Santana Gonzalez, a PhD candidate at the Irradiated Solids Laboratory (LSI**), have won the local IP Paris round of the Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition. They will represent IP Paris at the interuniversity competition on June 25, 2026, where the audience will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite candidate.
