An IP Paris PhD Candidate Wins Top Honors at the 2026 Inter-University 3MT® Final

On Thursday, June 25, 2026, Institut Polytechnique de Paris hosted the interuniversity final of the Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition. Safa Gharbi, a PhD candidate at the Laboratory of Physics of Interfaces and Thin Films (LPICM), won first prize, as well as the People's Choice Award and, new this year, the Middle Schoolers' Award. Linnéa Strandberg, a PhD candidate from Université Paris-Saclay, was awarded second prize.

IP Paris et l’ENSIP Paris and ENSTA Inaugurate an Air-Sea Testing Pool in Brest

On June 24, 2026, ENSTA and Institut Polytechnique de Paris inaugurated an air-sea testing pool on the engineering school's Brest campus. Particularly innovative in its design, it allows for the testing of cooperation between drones and marine observation systems, while eliminating the risks inherent to initial trials on the high seas.
