Baptiste Bourboulon appointed Director General of Services at IP Paris

Baptiste Bourboulon was appointed Director General of Services at Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IP Paris) on July 29,2024, by decree of the Minister of Economy, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty, and the Minister of Armed forces, on the proposal of Thierry Coulhon, IP Paris' Chairman of the Management Board. He took up his new position on September 2, 2024. His role is to manage and organize IP Paris’ administrative, financial and technical services.

IP Paris wins a call for expressions of interest to train experts in floating wind turbines

Named OFFWIND, the Master's program dedicated to floating wind power presented by Institut Polytechnique de Paris was awarded the Compétences et Métiers d'Avenir (CMA) call for expressions of interest launched by France 2030. The program, supported by ENSTA Paris and École nationale des ponts et chaussées (ENPC), two member schools of the Institute, and ENSTA Bretagne, has been awarded a contribution of 5.7 million euros. It should welcome its first students at the beginning of 2025 academic year.

New statutes for IP Paris and integration of Ecole nationale des ponts et chaussées

Institut Polytechnique de Paris has adopted a new governance structure, designed to serve its scientific and international ambitions, and integrates a sixth member school, École nationale des ponts et chaussées (ENPC). This institutional organization, ratified by a decree published on Tuesday July 16, is part of the reforms announced on September 26, 2023 by IP Paris' two supervisory bodies, the Minister of the Armed Forces and the Minister of the Economy, Finance and Industrial Sovereignty.

Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IP Paris) was awarded both the QS Employability Champions Recognition Award and the QS Award for Excellence in Global Engagement at the recent QS Higher Ed Summit Europe held in Barcelona from July 10th to 12th. The Institute also ranked 23rd in the latest QS World University Rankings: Europe 2025 among 685 Higher Education institutions (9th in Western Europe) and maintains its 2nd spot in France.
