Description
The Electrical Engineering Master program is designed for students interested by specialization in the fields of communication systems. This includes physical aspects: photonic, radio frequencies, electronic, but also includes higher layers like signal processing, networking and data processing.
The first year provides basic knowledge and skills through two possible tracks: Electrical and Optical Engineering and Microelectronics (EOE-MIE) and Telecommunication Networking and Multimedia and DATA analysis and Pattern Classification (TNM-Datapac). This first year prepares for the second year of specialization.
The second year offers eight majors:
- Integration Circuits and Systems;
- Machine learning, Communications and Security;
- Multimedia Networking;
- Optical Networks and Photonic Systems;
- Radio Systems;
- Systèmes Embarqués et Traitement de l'Information;
- TRaitement de l’Information et de l’Exploitation des Données (TRIED);
- Virtual and Augmented Reality.
This program opens the door to a wide range of career opportunities, including pursuing a PhD in an academic laboratory or within a company, as well as building a career in numerous organizations developing advanced systems for applications in transport (avionics, intelligent vehicles, space), telecommunications, information and digital technologies, defense, energy, robotics, personal assistance, multimedia, source coding, networking, and healthcare.
Key partners: Nokia, ST Micro, Thales, CEA, ONERA, EDF, Orange, Mitsubishi Electric, Sagem.
