Description

The Applied Mathematics and Statistics program is designed for students interested in data science, statistics, mathematical finance, actuarial science, and mathematical modeling. It provides students with advanced mathematical and analytical expertise.

The first year offers a mix of core and more specialized courses in applied mathematics and statistics. The second year allows students to focus on one of the program’s major. At the forefront of both research and industry, the program addresses data science challenges. Graduates are equipped to innovate in data science, trend prediction, decision automation, and healthcare.

For students aiming to pursue a PhD after their master’s degree, the program is affiliated with two PhD track programs for early research immersion: one in Mathematics and another in Data & Artificial Intelligence. These PhD track programs offer excellence scholarships and registration fee waivers.
