Professors
Courses at the Institut Polytechnique de Paris are taught by faculty members of the Institute and its member Schools, researchers from its laboratories, and outside professors, whether academic or industry experts, who are specialists in their fields.
Researchers
With its 32 research laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and ten research departments, along with its interdisciplinary centers, the Institut Polytechnique offers an array of opportunities for researchers who strive for excellence.
PhD Students
There are two ways to enroll as a PhD student at the Institut Polytechnique de Paris:
- Get into contact with a researcher from one of the Institut Polytechnique de Paris laboratories and work with him/her to develop a thesis project and a request for funding. This is usually done in the middle of the second year of the Master's Degree, when choosing a research internship. Once the necessary documents have been collected (detailed thesis project, CV, Master's degree grades, and a letter of support from the thesis supervisor), the laboratory and doctoral school may give their approval. The application will then be submitted to ADUM.
