L'Oréal-Unesco Jeunes Talents 2023 prize goes to Margaux Zaffran

A strong dose of curiosity, a deep desire to understand the world and a pinch of happy encounters... this is briefly Margaux Zaffran's recipe for success. At the age of 27, this doctoral student in the 3rd year of her thesis with EDF R&D, Inria (PREMEDICAL project team) and the Center for Applied Mathematics, has been awarded the L'Oréal-Unesco Jeunes Talents prize for women in science for her work on electricity market price prediction models.

Thierry Coulhon appointed Acting Chairman of the Board of Institut Polytechnique de Paris

Four years after its creation, Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IP Paris) has positioned itself as one of the world's leading higher education institutions in science and technology. After an initial phase dedicated to its creation and positioning under the presidency of Eric Labaye, the Institute is now entering the second phase of its development, dedicated to its acceleration and growth, reinforced by a reform of its governance. To lead this ambitious project, Professor Thierry Coulhon was officially appointed Acting Chairman of the Board of Institut Polytechnique de Paris on September 27.
