IP Paris Research Day 2025
Abstract
The ecological transition raises formidable challenges for engineers across many fields: energy, transportation, infrastructure, urban planning, and more. The IPCC bases its assessments on models of climate evolution. Numerical modeling therefore plays a fundamental role in this context, but it also raises important questions—for example, regarding the validity of models under new climatic conditions, and the energy cost of these models, especially when they rely on the use of very large datasets.
Annual theme
For the fourth year, the scientific community of the Institut Polytechnique de Paris will gather around the theme “Numerical Modeling and the Ecological Transition”, with a program featuring plenaries lectures, mini-symposia, and a poster session.
This annual event aims to:
- Explore interdisciplinary research topics related to the chosen theme,
- Showcase scientific results and their impact,
- Foster exchanges and promote collaboration among researchers.
Registration is free but mandatory. This is an internal event, exclusively for the IP Paris members staff and its Schools.
Poster session
Our PhD students / postdoctoral researchers will be in the spotlight with a poster exhibition and the opportunity to showcase their research work to the public in the main amphitheater - 1min/pers.
Please send your poster by filling out the form by November 27, 2025.
Program
The program will feature 3 plenaries lectures, 6 mini-symposia, and individual presentations during a poster session.
The interdisciplinary centers and various IP Paris services will also be present to showcase the range of services and opportunities they offer.
