VivaTech 2026: Looking back in pictures at the IP Paris innovation ecosystem

IP Paris startups connecting with investors and industry leaders

At the IP Paris booth, 27 startups supported by the X-UP, ENSTARTUPS, Ponts Alumni, Télécom Paris Incubator, IMT Starter incubators presented their innovations to hundreds of visitors, investors, and international corporations. Artificial intelligence, healthcare, cybersecurity, energy, industry, or environmental transition: the diversity of the projects illustrates the richness of entrepreneurship arising from IP Paris schools and laboratories.

Several of them stood out.

  • Tinental, a startup specializing in energy optimization for industrial systems using artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things (IoT), won the final of the Startup Germany Challenge thanks to the pitch by its founder, Elin Flyger.
  • Alizée Mesnard, founder of ShiftElec, was selected as one of the six finalists for the VivaTech Next Startupper Award. A graduate of Télécom SudParis, she develops virtual sensors based on artificial intelligence that enable industrial companies to better understand and optimize their electricity consumption. The startup had previously received support from the IP Paris pre-maturation call for projects and is currently supported by the IMT Starter incubator.
  • Sonaid, founded by Hélène Jaffrelot and Nicolas Turpault, won the Orange Startup Challenge in the "Home Platform Experience" category, thanks to its sound detection technology applied to health and safety challenges.
  • My Bubble Health, founded by Manel Chikh, was honored at the Business O Féminin Awards 2026 in the Startup category and received the "Coup de cœur" prize in the Women in Tech for Future competition organized by the CCI Paris Île-de-France for its contactless infant monitoring solution based on artificial intelligence.
  • Six IP Paris startups (GREEN-GRAPH, My Bubble Health, renOdit, Sonaid, Tinental, and VENTURIX) were selected to join VivaTech’s "Tech For Change" program, which honors companies developing technological solutions that reconcile environmental and societal impact with a sustainable business model.

When research fuels innovation

VivaTech was also an opportunity to demonstrate how academic research is transformed into entrepreneurial projects and high-potential innovations.

IP Paris interdisciplinary centers presented several demonstrators and use cases illustrating the transition from research to practical application.

  • The Hi! PARIS center notably featured several demonstrations centered around artificial intelligence and data science.
  • Energy4Climate (E4C) highlighted solutions related to the energy transition developed and tested on campus.
  • The Engineering for Health (E4H) center illustrated its support for healthcare innovation, particularly through its LivingLab and the journey of the startup VAir, which specializes in portable respiratory analysis.

Connections that accelerate projects

Throughout the event, entrepreneurs supported by IP Paris were able to exchange ideas with representatives from major corporations who came to discover emerging innovations within the ecosystem. These meetings often represent the first steps toward future collaborations, testing phases, or fundraising rounds.

Student entrepreneurs were not to be outdone. Several of them took advantage of the exhibition to meet key players in French innovation and expand their networks by connecting with entrepreneurs, investors, and organizations dedicated to supporting deep tech.

Through this latest participation at VivaTech, IP Paris demonstrated the complementary nature of its incubators, research centers, and entrepreneurial community. This is an environment where ideas are born in laboratories, mature through support programs, and scale up in contact with industry leaders and investors.
