On October 21, 2025, the Institut Polytechnique de Paris will host the first edition of its Cybersecurity and Defense Conference. Industry leaders and civilian and defense researchers will discuss this sensitive topic, which is at the forefront of national and European issues. The event is being organized in partnership with the Interdisciplinary Centre for the Defence and Security Studies (CIEDS, supported by the Ministry of the Armed Forces and the Defence Innovation Agency) and with the support of the Digital Sovereignty Chair attached to the Institute for Higher National Defence Studies (IHEDN).

With support from the French Defence innovation agency, CIEDS and CIMO are launching their new calls for projects starting in October 2026. The aim is to fund ambitious research projects in IP Paris laboratories targeting defence and security applications, which may be carried out in collaboration with academic or industrial partners.
