Institut Polytechnique de Paris and its five member Schools (École Polytechnique, ENSTA Paris, ENSAE Paris, Télécom Paris and Télécom SudParis), have been working since its creation in 2019 to be a key global education and research player in science and technology.

To support its global influence, the institution has set up the International Scientific Advisory Board (ISAB), an advisory body composed of eminent  academics who assist IP Paris in its reflection on the major orientations of its international scientific strategy.

In terms of international co-authorships, IP Paris is among the Top 40 of the THE most international universities 2022.

The Institute is also pursuing its strategy of international partnerships. It recently joined Cesaer, a network that brings together science and technology universities in Europe, representing a total of over one million students.

Last year, IP Paris welcomed 40% of international students from 88 countries around the world (Top 20 of THE most international universities 2022), an outstanding performance within a context where international travels have been impacted by the Covid-19 health crisis.

Despite this, the Institute, thanks to its motivated students, was able to build a climate of confidence but also offer facilities and activities to help international students, notably through student's associations as testify Juhyun KIM from South Korea, student in Master 2 Data Science at Institut Polytechnique de Paris: "As an international student, being able to join Institut Polytechnique de Paris, an institution of well-known Schools was very interesting given the high expectations of the future that I have ahead with the Institute. Moreover, IP Paris emphasized their support for international students, which were very appealing for me to choose it for my studies. As the president of the BDE student association, our members and I are trying to help international students by giving them essential information about the campus, and also by organizing events. The Buddy program for example, welcomes new incoming students of the IP Paris Masters program. The Buddy group is composed of one "Buddlunteer", who has already been a student of IP Paris for at least one year, and multiple "Buddies" who are new to the campus".

"Being able to meet a lot of nationalities on the campus introduced me to get to know various cultures that I haven't been aware of during my entire life. In addition, it was also a great opportunity for me to share my culture with others, it creates a warm family atmosphere. Finally, regarding student life on campus, I could learn that despite our different cultures, we have similar needs and wants as students!", she added.

THE most international universities ranking, which includes 193 institutions, measures their share of international academic staff, students and co-authorships, as well as their international reputations.
