Bocconi University and IP Paris partner for academic excellence
The MoU outlines five key areas of cooperation:
- Joint research initiatives: Both institutions will focus on collaborative research across disciplines of shared interest, addressing pressing societal challenges.
- Exchange of faculty and researchers: This exchange allows faculty members and researchers to immerse in the academic culture of the partner institution, facilitating cross-pollination of ideas and methodologies.
- Student exchange programs: Through this partnership, students from both universities will have the chance to expand their educational horizons and build networks across borders.
- Collaborative seminars and meetings: Jointly organized seminars and academic events will encourage intellectual exchange and build platforms for dialogue on global issues.
- Educational resource sharing: Both IP Paris and Bocconi will share educational materials, research publications, and academic insights, broadening access to knowledge and resources.
On the same day, another MoU was signed with École Polytechnique, a member school of IP Paris, to further advance the collaboration specifically within École Polytechnique’s academic programs, including the Master of Science and Technology (MScT) and the Ingénieur Polytechnicien programs. This agreement aims to enhance student mobility, enabling students to benefit from the rigorous academic offerings and broaden their global perspectives through cross-institutional exchanges.
Reflecting on the partnership, Thierry Coulhon, President of IP Paris, stated, “This alliance represents a step toward creating a network of academic excellence across Europe. By combining our strengths, we are not only expanding opportunities for our students and faculty but also positioning our institutions at the forefront of addressing global challenges through research and innovation.”
The partnership is set for an initial five-year term, with possibilities for extension and further development based on mutual interest and success.
