Innovation-based competition is now a reality across all business sectors. The digital revolution is strongly affecting the behavior of both firms and regulators. In order to survive in hyper-competitive markets, companies have to innovate more frequently and more radically.

This program aims at providing cutting-edge frameworks and methodologies to help face this challenge. Students will develop strong expertise both in terms of technology and management. Hard and soft sciences are combined to deliver high-level courses across a broad landscape including system software, artificial intelligence, biomechanical & 3D printing, econometrics, platform economy, and innovation management and design. Students will have the opportunity to tailor the program to fit their own interests and career outlooks.

Objectives

The program enables students to:

  • Understand the specificities of innovation-intensive competition
  • Acquire theories and methodologies suited to this context
  • Cover a variety of topics relating to innovation-intensive contexts: strategy and decision making; market approach; regulation; customer approach; design processes; organization and project management; finance and governance

To complete the Master’s degree, first-year students can enter the following second-year programs:

On completion of the two-year Master’s program, students can expect to pursue a career in:

  • Specialized innovation consulting firms
  • Large R&D-related firms
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Banking and venture capital
  • Public agencies and regulatory authorities

Mandatory research internship, at least 16 weeks (April - July) - 20 ECTS

Admission requirements

Academic prerequisites

  • Completion of a Bachelor of Science or equivalent in France or abroad
  • Excellent level in hard sciences, especially in mathematics and/or physics and a good level in management sciences

Language prerequisites

  • French
  • English

Fees for 2023-2024 are :

  • EU/EEA/Switzerland students: 243€
  • Non-EU/EEA/Switzerland students: 4130€
  • Engineer students enrolled in one of the five member schools of Institut Polytechnique de Paris (Ecole polytechnique, ENSTA Paris, ENSAE Paris, Télécom Paris and Télécom SudParis): 159€
