Institut Polytechnique de Paris is organizing the first edition of its annual Engineering for Health Forum. This two-day event aims at shedding light onto ongoing research projects and presenting the next challenges related to Engineering and Health. The Forum will encompass 2 major events:
- July 6th - Academic symposium : The one-day academic symposium on engineering & health aims to gather researchers, medical doctors, and engineers to stimulate new interactions and create more synergies. The event is in partnership with Fondation Bettencourt Schueller and Paris Saint Joseph Hospital Group. A poster exposition will be organized.
- July 7th - Launch of the IP Paris Engineering for Health Center on the afternoon : Finally on the afternoon of July 7th, there will be the official launch of the new IP Paris Engineering for Health (E4H) interdisciplinary research center in partnership with Paris Saint Joseph Hospital Group and Inria
The events on the 6th will be in English, while the launch event will be in French. Registration is free but compulsory for the events, and seats are limited.
On this occasion, Institut Polytechnique de Paris will host the 1st edition of the "Thursdays" of Paris Saclay Cancer Cluster (PSCC), a consortium created by several actors, including IP Paris, to support and accelerate translational research projects to fight against cancer. L'Institut Polytechnique de Paris organise la première édition de son Forum annuel "Engineering for Health". Cet événement sur deux jours vise à mettre en avant des projets de recherche en cours dans le domaine de la santé et à présenter des grands défis sociétaux liés aux sciences de la vie. Le Forum comprendra 2 événements majeurs :
- Le 6 juillet, un symposium académique : Le symposium académique d'une journée sur l'ingénierie et la santé vise à rassembler des chercheurs, des médecins et des ingénieurs pour stimuler de nouvelles interactions et créer plus de synergies. L'événement est en partenariat avec la Fondation Bettencourt Schueller et le Groupe Hospitalier Paris Saint-Joseph. Une exposition de posters sera organisée. Vous pouvez soumettre une proposition de poster ici.
- Le 7 juillet après-midi, le lancement du centre d'ingénierie de la santé : IP Paris organisera un événement pour dévoiler son nouveau centre de recherche interdisciplinaire Engineering for Health (E4H) en partenariat avec le Groupe Hospitalier Paris Saint-Joseph et Inria.
Le symposium du 6 juillet sera en anglais. L'événement de lancement du 7 juillet après-midi se fera en français. L'inscription à ces événements est gratuite mais obligatoire, les places étant limitées.
