AI and digital twins: Alexandre Daby-Seesaram accelerates organ simulation for diagnosis and surgery
Alexandre Daby-Seesaram is a senior lecturer at ENSTA's Mechanics and Interfaces Laboratory (LMI*). Recruited in January 2026 as part of the Tenure Track IP Paris program supported by the interdisciplinary Engineering for Health (E4H) center, he brings expertise in computational mechanics that he applies to the medical field. Alexandre Daby-Seesaram uses AI to reduce digital twin models of organs. His work makes it possible to accelerate simulations on these models for therapeutic or personalized surgery purposes.
IP Paris partners with the 2026 edition of the Paris Saclay Summit Choose Science
The Institut Polytechnique de Paris will be present at the third edition of the Paris Saclay Summit Choose Science, on February 18 and 19 at CentraleSupélec. Winston Maxwell, member of the French Academy of Technologies
At the end of December 2025, Winston Maxwell, professor of law at the I3 laboratory at Télécom Paris, was one of 18 new members elected to the French Academy of Technologies. The induction ceremony took place on March 10, 2026, at the Sorbonne. Winston Maxwell is recognized for his exceptional career at the intersection of law, regulation, and digital transformation.
