OCEAN (On IntelligenCE And Networks) project aims to develop a new learning methodology where learning is shared between different users, each retaining their autonomy and control over their data. The project is led respectively by Éric Moulines, École Polytechnique, Michael Jordan, UC Berkeley, Christian Robert, Université Paris Dauphine-PSL and Gareth Roberts of the University of Warwick.

The ASTER Forum is the gathering of responsible companies and students from the schools of IP Paris and Plateau de Saclay. The first edition will take place on November 17 in the Grand Hall of ENSTA Paris and is built around two ideas: a social future and an ecological and responsible transition for the world of tomorrow. The award ceremony of the 2022 Advanced Short Story Competition on the theme of "Lumière" (light) took place on Thursday, October 20 at the Pantheon in Paris. The competition is organized every year by ENSTA Paris and Ecole Polytechnique, two of the five founding schools of Institut Polytechnique de Paris. 13 winners in 5 categories received an award (student, general public, high school students, francophonies and "arts, sciences and citizens"). The trophies this year were made by students of the Lycée professionnel Le Corbusier.

Alain Aspect, CNRS Research Director Emeritus at the Institut d'Optique Graduate School (Université Paris-Saclay - CNRS) and Professor at the École Polytechnique (Institut Polytechnique de Paris), is co-recipient of the 2022 Nobel Prize in Physics. This Nobel Prize reflects the excellence of education and research in Physics at École Polytechnique and at the Institut Polytechnique de Paris.

The International Center for French Language and Culture federates all cultural, scientific and academic activities for international students, researchers and staff of Institut Polytechnique de Paris and its member schools.
