On January 1, 2024, Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IP Paris) officially replaced one of its founding members, École Polytechnique, within the EuroTech Alliance.

This development means that ENSTA Paris, ENSAE Paris, Télécom Paris and Télécom SudParis, the four other prestigious French engineering schools which form the Institute, will also become active partners.

"The Alliance makes it possible to combine the complementary expertise of its partners to carry out multi-scale projects with high impact for society and industry at international level. EuroTech is committed to working with the various players in society to highlight the opportunities offered by science and technology", explains Thierry Coulhon, acting Chairman of the Board of Directors of Institut Polytechnique de Paris.

The six EuroTech universities are Institut Polytechnique de Paris, École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), Technical University of Munich (TUM), Technical University of Denmark (DTU), and Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.

The aim of these six excellent universities of science and technology is to join forces to build a strong, sustainable, sovereign and resilient Europe. They are developing ambitious Europe-wide research projects in priority areas such as artificial intelligence, sustainable development, healthcare and bioengineering.
