The Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IP Paris) took part in the 2025 edition of Paris-Saclay SPRING, the flagship innovation event on the Saclay plateau. Held on May 20 and 21 on the École Polytechnique campus (IP Paris), the event showcased IP Paris's strong commitment to scientific entrepreneurship, interdisciplinarity, and the promotion of applied research.
Highlights from SPRING 2025

As a founding partner of SPRING, IP Paris presented a vibrant ecosystem made up of startups, research projects, and interdisciplinary centers. Through the Lab Corner, the Institute highlighted its deeptech initiatives, underlining its central role within the Paris-Saclay innovation ecosystem.

Plasana Medical: Winner of the Spring 50 Competition

Among the startups emerging from the IP Paris ecosystem, Plasana Medical stood out by winning the Spring 50 competition. Founded in 2022 by Yves Matton and co-founded by Antoine Rousseau, a researcher at the Plasma Physics Laboratory (LPP) of École Polytechnique, Plasana Medical is developing a portable medical device that uses a cold plasma jet to effectively treat chronic wounds. This innovative technology, based on research supported by École Polytechnique and its partners, has been recognized for its transformative potential in the healthcare sector.
