A series of meetings designed to facilitate exchange between the Materials community and the Artificial Intelligence community, the internal workshop of the interdisciplinary center Materials for Society (M4S) are held on the third Tuesday of every month.

Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IP Paris) is pleased to announce the results of the 2025 edition of its IP Paris Prematuration Call for Projects. This program aims to foster innovation by turning laboratory research into real-world solutions for tomorrow's society. 19 projects will receive funding for this 7th edition. This demonstrates the strength of innovation at IP Paris.

Jérémy Bleyer is a researcher at the Navier* laboratory at the École nationale des ponts et chaussées. He has just been awarded an ERC Consolidator Grant to carry out his AUTOMATIX project, which aims to transform the way in which the behavior of materials in solid mechanics is modeled and simulated.

For the first time, the Institut Polytechnique de Paris will host the Forum Seas et Ocean, to be held on Tuesday, January 13th, 2026, at ENSTA - Paris-Saclay campus. This scientific event is part of the activities of the CIMO – Seas and Ocean Interdisciplinary Center, and will also celebrate the first anniversary of its founding.

On December 5, 2025, marking the World Equal Opportunity Day, Institut Polytechnique de Paris and the four Écoles normales supérieures announced the creation of a new initiative: the Observatory for Equality of Opportunity, designed to analyze, document, and track access to the most selective pathways in French higher education.

The Institut Polytechnique de Paris is organizing its first Seas and Ocean Forum on January 13, 2026.
