Asset n°2

Prepare for a stimulating career in research or industrial R&D in the exciting field of biomechanics and biomedical engineering

Asset n°3

Prepare for highly interdisciplinary PhD studies in biomedical engineering at the intersection of mechanics, physics, applied mathematics and life/health sciences

The M1 - BME track provides students with research-intensive training in the application of the physical and engineering sciences to the life sciences, medicine, and health. Applicants are expected to have a strong background in engineering, physical sciences, or applied mathematics and a true desire to contribute to the ongoing revolutionary changes in the life sciences and medicine.

Objectives

  • Benefit from a high level of specialization in the rapidly growing field of biomedical engineering
  • Conduct research in a stimulating learning environment
  • Communicate with participants from different domains of life science (researchers, engineers, clinicians)

The BME Master has received funding from the French National Research Agency (ANR) through the following grant mechanisms of the France 2030 plan :

  • EUR BERTIP: ANR-18-EURE-0002
  • AMI-CMA DaTSHealth: ANR-23-CMAS-0033

On completing the second year of the Master, graduates will be equipped for a variety of careers in academic and industrial research laboratories, or directly in advanced applicative domains.
