Le Figaro étudiant published its annual ranking of the best engineering schools in France in December 2022. Like last year, École Polytechnique ranks 1st, while Télécom Paris is 5th, ENSAE Paris 7th, ENSTA Paris 10th and Télécom SudParis 11th. This ranking highlights the excellence of Institut Polytechnique de Paris member schools in their fields of study, their attractiveness in France and internationally, and the employability of their graduates.

A month ago, Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IP Paris) and Orange announced the launch of the first “Executive MSc in Cybersecurity” program dedicated to cybersecurity operational managers. In a context where cyber-attacks are increasing, the cybersecurity ecosystem is experiencing a strong growth in terms of activity and resources.

Since its creation, Institut Polytechnique de Paris has been supporting research and innovation thanks to its call for projects dedicated to early stage projects ( AAP prématuration IP Paris). This call aims at building a first invention-market fit in order to carry out an initial proof of concept. At the end of the Prémat' 2022 Call for Projects, 11 projects have been selected.

The Paris Saclay Cancer Cluster (PSCC), of which Institut Polytechnique de Paris is a founding member, is a winner of the "France 2030" Biocluster program. It will receive 80 to 100 million euros to bring together the best expertise in oncology and advance research and innovation in the fight against cancer. Notably, by accelerating industrial projects and maturing start-ups in this field, but also by supporting the realization of clinical trials through funding via calls for projects and by facilitating collaborations.

The ERC Starting has rewarded 408 scientific talents in Europe this year, including three researchers from Institut Polytechnique de Paris: Fabian Cadiz of the Condensed Matter Physics Laboratory, Adrien Leblanc of the Laboratoire d’Optique Appliquée and Félix Tropf of the Centre for Research in Economics and Statistics (CREST). This funding will allow them to build teams and launch projects in their fields of research.

OCEAN (On IntelligenCE And Networks) project aims to develop a new learning methodology where learning is shared between different users, each retaining their autonomy and control over their data. The project is led respectively by Éric Moulines, École Polytechnique, Michael Jordan, UC Berkeley, Christian Robert, Université Paris Dauphine-PSL and Gareth Roberts of the University of Warwick.

The ASTER Forum is the gathering of responsible companies and students from the schools of IP Paris and Plateau de Saclay. The first edition will take place on November 17 in the Grand Hall of ENSTA Paris and is built around two ideas: a social future and an ecological and responsible transition for the world of tomorrow. Lola Delfosse, president of the ASTER Forum and student at ENSTA Paris - IP Paris presents the initiative.

In just one year, the Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IP Paris) gained almost 55 seats and enters the Top 80 worldwide (from 126-150 in 2021 to 71-80 in 2022) of the Times Higher Education World Reputation Rankings 2022.

Join the first conference of the "2ID" series organized by the Interdisciplinary Center for Defense and Security Studies (CIEDS) of Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IP Paris). Jean-Marc Gasparini (X82), Deputy General Manager in charge of military and space programs at Dassault Aviation will speak on November 16, 2022 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at the Becquerel amphitheatre of École Polytechnique.

The award ceremony of the 2022 Advanced Short Story Competition on the theme of "Lumière" (light) took place on Thursday, October 20 at the Pantheon in Paris. The competition is organized every year by ENSTA Paris and Ecole Polytechnique, two of the five founding schools of Institut Polytechnique de Paris. 13 winners in 5 categories received an award (student, general public, high school students, francophonies and "arts, sciences and citizens"). The trophies this year were made by students of the Lycée professionnel Le Corbusier.

Télécom Paris, one of the founding schools of Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IP Paris), is now based at Station F with a program open to projects founded or co-founded by alumni and students of École Polytechnique, ENSTA Paris, ENSAE Paris, Télécom SudParis and Télécom Paris.

As part of the "short literary composition" Competition, the International Center for French Language and Culture of the Institut Polytechnique de Paris is organizing, in collaboration with the library of the École Polytechnique, an exhibition of glass trophies made by the students of the Lycée Le Corbusier, a partner of the Competition, in connection with the General Inspection of the Ministry of Education.
