Vincent Jolys Appointed Director General of Services of Institut Polytechnique de Paris

As Director General of Services, Vincent Jolys will oversee the Institute’s administrative, financial, technical, and operational services. Working closely with the President, he will help implement IP Paris’ strategic priorities while strengthening the organization, governance, and operational frameworks that support the Institute’s long-term ambitions.

His role will also involve close collaboration with IP Paris’ six member schools — École polytechnique, ENSTA, École nationale des ponts et chaussées (ENPC), ENSAE Paris, Télécom Paris, and Télécom SudParis — to reinforce the collective model that is at the heart of the Institute’s development.

This coordination is a key priority for IP Paris: enabling the Institute and its member schools to fully leverage their complementary strengths, deepen collaboration, and build an agile organization that serves their shared missions in education, research, and innovation.

Vincent Jolys brings extensive experience in executive leadership, strategy, and institutional transformation within higher education. His expertise in managing complex organizations will be invaluable as Institut Polytechnique de Paris enters this new stage of development, continues to strengthen its organization, and further builds the collective dynamic with our member schools.

A Proven Leader in Higher Education Transformation

Vincent Jolys has built his career at the intersection of executive management, institutional strategy, organizational transformation, and economic development.

Previously, he served for nine years as Executive Director of CentraleSupélec, overseeing all administrative and support functions of the institution. In that role, he played a central part in consolidating the organization following the merger between Centrale Paris and Supélec.

Building the Next Chapter Together

For Vincent Jolys, joining IP Paris represents an opportunity to contribute to the Institute’s next phase of growth.

Joining Institut Polytechnique de Paris at this moment in its history is an exciting opportunity. IP Paris embodies a world-class scientific, academic, and technological ambition that calls for an organization fully aligned with its mission. I look forward to bringing my experience in executive leadership, strategy, and transformation to support this momentum by building on the complementary strengths of the Institute and its member schools. The new institutional chapter ahead gives us the opportunity to continue building this collective project with high standards, efficiency, and a shared vision of our priorities.
