Designed to strengthen links between companies and the academic ecosystem of the Institut Polytechnique de Paris, IP Paris Connexion is a partnership program dedicated to developing strategic collaborations with companies and institutional stakeholders. It enables the identification of relevant synergies and the building of solid collaborations.

A partnership serving major ambitions

By joining the IP Paris Connexion program, the SNCF Group wishes to deepen its collaboration with the IP Paris academic ecosystem. Thanks to personalized support and privileged access to the expertise of the Institute's six schools, its interdisciplinary research centers, its innovation capabilities, and its talent pool, this partnership will support the SNCF Group's ambitions in terms of sustainable mobility, industrial performance, and digital transformation.

The program will also open up opportunities for training and cooperation through PhD theses and internships, boosting the attractiveness of the SNCF Group and its careers among engineering students. Strategic areas such as artificial intelligence, data science, robotics, automation, connectivity and telecoms, energy, predictive maintenance, and immersive technologies could thus be addressed.

A historic relationship reaching a new milestone

The SNCF Group and the schools of the Institut Polytechnique de Paris have already been collaborating for nearly fifteen years through academic chairs and joint research activities within the framework of PhD theses. This membership in IP Paris Connexion marks a new milestone, reflecting a shared desire to build a common long-term roadmap and develop collaborations on a larger scale.
