Chair ASC's ambitions
The Complex Systems Architecture Chair is a major initiative of IP Paris. It represents a strategic collaboration between the academic world and key players in the French defense industry.
Its main objective is to train future engineers to tackle defense challenges through a systemic and multidisciplinary approach, while strengthening national sovereignty.

Faculty member hiring
Four permanent faculty members have been hired within our members schools :

Education
New programs have been designed as Formal Methods at École Polytechnique and Complex Networks at Télécom SudParis.
Corporate partnerships
The ASC Chair is at the heart of a vibrant collaborative ecosystem: workshops, student projects, and now the ASC Challenge create valuable opportunities for students, researchers, industry experts, and institutions to come together. The Chair is overseen by CIEDS – the Interdisciplinary Center for Defense and Security Studies, which ensures its strong connection to the IP Paris ecosystem. It reflects a commitment to close collaboration with key players in the defense sector.

It has become a true platform for fruitful diiscussions between engineers, researchers, and industry — a shared foundation for developing the defense systems of the future,” said Thierry Coulhon, Chairman of the Management Board of IP Paris.
