On May 20–21, 2025, the Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IP Paris) will take an active role in SPRING, the flagship innovation event of the Paris-Saclay cluster, held this year on the École Polytechnique campus.

As a founding partner of the event, IP Paris will spotlight the strength of its ecosystem by showcasing its start-ups, high-potential research projects, and interdisciplinary centers.

This major gathering will bring together researchers, entrepreneurs, industry leaders, investors, and incubators around disruptive technologies. The agenda includes targeted B2B meetings, tech demonstrations, pitch sessions, and panel discussions. s. 

13 IP Paris Start-ups Recognized in the Spring 50

Thirteen start-ups from the IP Paris ecosystem have been selected in the prestigious Spring 50 competition, which highlights the most promising young companies on the Saclay plateau. Incubated in the Institute’s incubators or founded by its alumni, these start-ups are driving innovation in key areas such as digital technology, healthcare, greentech, and the agriculture of the future.

For the first time, SPRING will feature a dedicated Lab Corner, showcasing four innovative research projects from IP Paris laboratories and its PUI IP³. Selected for their technological and societal impact, these projects demonstrate how cutting-edge research can be translated into real-world solutions.

Showcasing Interdisciplinarity and Scientific Entrepreneurship

On May 21, IP Paris will open the doors of its X-Novation Center for a guided innovation tour, offering SPRING attendees an immersive look into the heart of its entrepreneurial ecosystem. Visitors will discover deeptech start-ups, prototyping labs, tech demonstrators, and collaborative initiatives—each illustrating the transition from research to application.

Across the exhibition, several interdisciplinary centers of IP Paris will also highlight how the Institute bridges science, technology, and societal issues. Fields such as artificial intelligence, energy transition, security, and science-society relations will be in focus, demonstrating IP Paris’s commitment to high-impact innovation that addresses today’s global challenges. orains.
