CIEDS "2ID" Conference : "Innovation, a change of paradigm in the sector of defense"

Join us for a new conference of the "2ID" series organized by the Interdisciplinary Center for Defense and Security Studies (CIEDS) of Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IP Paris). Walid Benzarti (TP99), Director for Innovation, Research and Technology of Thales LAS will speak on February 16, 2023 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at the Drahi’X Novation center amphitheatre of École Polytechnique.

CIEDS "2ID" Conference : "Innovation, a change of paradigm in the sector of defense"

Walid Benzarti will present a conference (open to all) entitled "Innovation : the change of paradigm in the sector of Defense" which will also be held in hybrid format (via zoom). The conference will be followed by a get together to facilitate direct exchanges with the speaker as well as with the CIEDS team.

This event is the inaugural conference of the 2ID cycle - Engineering and Defense Innovations - supported by the CIEDS. These conferences bringing together speakers from both industry and government aim to show teachers, researchers, doctoral students, staff, students of IP Paris and beyond, the interest, opportunities and the consideration of technological innovations by industrialists and operators in the French defense sector.

The CIEDS is one of the interdisciplinary centers of IP Paris. It aims to leverage the scientific skills of IP Paris laboratories to answer technological needs of the defense sector.
