Additive fabrication and repair workshop: feedback on a day rich in exchanges

Organised by the Solid Mechanics Laboratory and IMSIA, at the initiative of CIEDS (Interdisciplinary Centre for Defence and Security Studies), and in partnership with M4S (Materials for Society) and GIS HEAD, this day provided an opportunity to explore the industrial, technological and scientific issues associated with additive fabrication for repair and maintenance in operational conditions, as well as the need to take reparability issues into account in the design of new systems.
The CIEDS would like to thank all those present for a day rich in exchanges, and in particular the speakers for their fascinating presentations: Defence Innovation Agency; ArcelorMittal; CETIM; École polytechnique; EDF; ENS Paris-Saclay; ENSAM; ENSTA; Institut Pprime/ISAE-ENSMA; IP Paris; KNDS France; Mines de Paris; OPT'ALM; Safran Aircraft Engines; Safran Landing Systems; SNCF Groupe; SNCF Voyageurs.
This workshop opens the door to future thematic meetings between industrial companies and laboratories.
