For the third consecutive year since the event's inception, the Institut Polytechnique de Paris is partnering with the Paris Saclay Summit Choose Science, which will be held on February 18 and 19, 2026, at CentraleSupelec in Gif-sur-Yvette.

A major scientific event in France, the Paris Saclay Summit Choose Science is a forum dedicated to scientific and technological sovereignty, at the crossroads of research, industry, and political decision-making. It also aims to make scientific knowledge accessible to as many people as possible.

European cooperation

The 2026 edition goes well beyond France's borders, dedicating a day and one of its spaces to European scientific cooperation and calling for the formation of a consortium of stakeholders to enrich the debate around the next Horizon Europe 2028-2034 framework program.

It thus highlights the strategic importance of such cooperation in developing new technologies, providing collective and transnational responses to the challenges of innovation and competitiveness, and rebuilding solid and lasting confidence in science.

At a time when Thierry Coulhon, Chairman of the IP Paris Executive Board, is taking up the rotating presidency of the EuroTech Universities Alliance network of excellence with the ambition of strengthening the integration of research and technological innovation at the European level, IP Paris is fully committed to the Paris Saclay Summit initiative.

The Institut Polytechnique de Paris is also a major scientific partner of the event as a key player in the science-society dialogue and a driving force in engineering sciences and the development of disruptive technologies
