Award-winning startups

Startups from the X-UP, ENSTARTUPS, Ponts Alumni, Incubateur Télécom Paris, and IMT Starter incubators, as well as alumni from member schools, presented their innovations in strategic fields such as artificial intelligence, healthcare, energy, cybersecurity, and industry. Among them, ShiftElec represented the Institute's entrepreneurial ecosystem in the finals of the Next Startupper Award, while Tinental won the finals of the Startup Germany Challenge Pitch.

Interdisciplinary centers in the spotlight

VivaTech 2026 was also an opportunity for the Institute to showcase its interdisciplinary centers, which serve as research and innovation accelerators at the crossroads of multiple disciplines. These included: Hi! PARIS, with demonstrations dedicated to advancements in artificial intelligence and data science; Engineering for Health (E4H), and its interdisciplinarity-driven approach to healthcare; Energy for Climate (E4C), highlighting its work dedicated to meeting the challenges of the energy and climate transition.

New strategic partnerships signed

No fewer than three major partnerships were signed during the event:

  • With the École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) de Montréal, strengthening international cooperation and exchanges in education, research, and innovation;
  • With AMI Labs, a startup aiming to develop AI systems capable of understanding the physical world, maintaining long-term memory, and strategizing for complex tasks;
  • With Danone, through IP Paris Connexion, the partnership program that strengthens ties between the Institute and major corporations committed to technological, industrial, and societal transformations.

Through this participation, Institut Polytechnique de Paris reaffirmed its three-fold ambition: to accelerate the emergence of tomorrow's technologies, to strengthen European scientific and technological sovereignty, and to train the talents who will build future innovations.
