BME Conference Fellowships Program

The Enginneering for Health (E4H) interdisciplinary Center of Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IP Paris) is announcing a call for its BME Conference Fellowships program in support of IP Paris and Inria Saclay masters and PhD students and postdoctoral fellows working in the Biomedical Engineering (BME) field. The award, financed by the EUR – Bertip (ANR 18EURE0002), will contribute to covering travel, living expenses, and conference registration fees.

Selection criteria

Preference will be given to individuals who have an accepted oral presentation at the conference, followed by those who have a poster presentation. Pending availability of funds, individuals attending the conference without presenting are also eligible to receive support through this award mechanism.

The exact amount awarded will depend on the needs stated in the application. 

Application procedure

Applicants should fill the online form and upload their CV and a support letter from their advisor/mentor.

Evaluation procedure

This call is pemanent. Applications will be reviewed on a monthly basis by the E4H Steering Committee. 

Application timeline

Applications should be evaluated:

• for conferences within EU : at least 1 month before the first day of the conference
• for conferences outside EU : at least 2 months before the first day of the conference

• 17 March 2024
• 21 April 2024
• 12 May 2024
• 16 June 2024
• 15 September 2024

Late applications will not be accepted and will be returned to the applicant. Submissions that do not comply with the instructions may be penalized.
